It had been a week since Nanaw took Chase to school, what with Camp O and his two days off from school. When Nanaw picked him up, he said he had history and math homework, and Mama told him to check to make sure he had done his Spanish homework. On the way home from school, they went to Dollar Tree to get a white pom pom to fix bag Jack. They could only find small pom poms but Nanaw said she could sew some together and then look at Walmart for bigger ones. Chase picked out some Hot Wheels tracks and Hot Wheels cars. He also got two bags of candy sticks, which he pretends are candy cigarettes. Nanaw sewed the pom poms while Chase did his homework. He said he would do his AR reading at home tonight. Mama took Chase to Great Clips to get a haircut. Mama wanted him to have something with style instead of a buzz cut. So that's what he got. It's sort of cute but Nanaw prefers the buzz cut. Chase likes his new do, so that's all that matters.
