When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he reported, as usual, that he'd had a good day. Nanaw likes hearing that and hopes it continues. Chase said he'd finished his homework except for the last few math problems. That was good because he had a hockey evaluation in the evening. He said he likes the new way of doing hockey evaluations. They play a pretend game of hockey rather than getting all kind of individual tests. Chase said the soft taco at lunch was really good. It's neat how much he likes the school lunches. At the end of last year, he even tried the two lunches that he thought he didn't like -- scrambled eggs and chicken-friend steak -- and he ended up saying they weren't so bad and that he probably would eat them from now on. Nanaw checked his science grade online and was delighted to report to Chase that he got a 100 on his science quiz and 100 on his homework so he has an A+ in science. He has a math quiz on Friday so he'll be studying for that tomorrow afternoon and evening. He said he had lunch with the crew -- his regular set of friends: Brady, Cole. Drew, Hunter and Joey. After lunch, for their recent fun, they played Infection on the playground. Evidently, Infection is like tag except that when you're tagged, you become Infected. Nanaw doesn't know what happens after you get tagged, so she'll have to ask Chase.
