Happy Valentine’s Day to Chase! Chase’s first adventure today was Clayton Laptime. He seemed to have a great time running around the room and playing with the toys and balls and other little children. Miss Jeannie blew bubbles for the kids, and Chase certainly enjoyed that – bubble are among his favorite things. In the evening, Mama and Daddy prepared a special Valentine’s Day dinner and invited Nanaw to attend as Chase’s valentine. Daddy grilled steaks and Mama fixed yummy twice-baked potatoes and garlic breadsticks. For dessert, there were cupcakes – yellow cake with chocolate icing. Chase got lots of presents: a coloring "portfolio," three books, a navy warm-up suit and a blues sweatshirt. Daddy bought beautiful tulips for Mama.
