Except for a quick trip to Walmart, Chase and Nanaw spent the day at Nanaw’s house. It was windy and rainy outside but warm and snug inside. In the morning, Chase and Nanaw played in his room with his psychedelic van and his "bee-byes." After his nap, he ate lots of popcorn chicken with ranch dip and his favorite, green beans. After lunch, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs for school. First, Chase stopped to play with the groceries in his store. He also headed toward the boxes that hold the pieces to a major train set that Nanaw still hasn’t set up for him. Finally, Chase and Nanaw went to school, where Chase watched Monster University, colored and played with the alphabet cards. He also played with the alphabet letters, sometimes identifying the letters correctly and sometimes not.
