Nanaw forgot to write about part of Chase’s Sunday adventure so here it is. Daddy and Chase went out to Wentzville to visit Grandma Pat and Aunt Patty. Then after their visit, Daddy and Chase went to Uncle Chris’s house in Silex to go sledding with cousins Cessie and Mallory. Daddy says Chase seemed to have a really great time except when he fell off his sled into the snow and got a face full of snow. He wouldn’t get back on his own sled but was fine with one of Uncle Chris’s sleds. On Monday, Chase and Nanaw went to Babygarten at the Columbia Library. Chase didn’t spend much time on Nanaw’s lap for story time and song time – he mostly ran around the letters and numbers on the play rug. During play time, he sat on the rug and played with the toys and the other children – very cute. In the afternoon, after Chase’s nap, Chase and Nanaw took a road trip out to O’Fallon to pick up Nanaw’s new fireplace doors. On Friday night, a log fell into the doors and broke them. Chase was really good on the road trip, entertaining Nanaw by singing his ABC song and the Tick Tock song, and talking non-stop.
