Chase’s first adventure today was an early morning trip to Walmart for Nanaw to buy a toy for Chase. Nanaw gave money to her other grandchildren when they came for her birthday dinner but Chase had already gone home. So Nanaw decided to buy a toy for him rather than giving him money. They found a really good toy: a Puppy Activity House that sings the alphabet song, does numbers and weather, has a door and window that talk and a porch light that you can turn on and off. Chase seems to really like the house and played with it a lot today. Before his nap, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in her neighborhood. After his nap, Chase and Nanaw went to the park playground next to the Columbia library. Chase played on the slides and even went down the tunnel, which he wouldn’t do yesterday. He followed the other children on the playground around, and it was very cute.
