Chase’s first adventure of the day didn’t turn out too well. Mama had the day off, and Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to Clayton Laptime. Chase was much wilder than usual, running around, and crying and screaming when Mama or Nanaw tried to restrain him. He was really being disruptive, and Miss Jeannie finally suggested to Nanaw that it might be better if he left so they did. Mama thinks Chase may be too old for Laptime because the other children are younger so probably Chase won’t go anymore. In the afternoon, after Chase’s nap, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to the flag store on Manchester Road, near Edward Jones. Chase seemed to have a grand time running around the store looking at everything. Next, they went to the fabric store to get a gift card for Aunt Kristen’s birthday. Mama and Daddy went out for Aunt Kristen’s birthday, and Nanaw babysat. Nanaw and Chase went to McDonald’s for fry-fries and chicken McNuggets and dip.
