Chase had two adventures today. First, in the morning, he went grocery shopping at Schnuck’s with Mama. She said he behaved fairly well and only tried to grab a few things off the shelf. He did try to get Mama to open the package of Mardi Gras beads she was buying for him, saying "Open, open, open." When Chase got home from his shopping adventure, he and Daddy had an adventure going to see Grandma Pat in Wentzville. He also got to see his Aunt Nona and cousin Wesley, who’s almost two months old. Daddy and Chase brought a swing for Wesley. When it was time to go home, Daddy said Chase kissed Wesley good-bye. In the evening, Nanaw came to visit and brought along paczki (filled doughnuts) that Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky brought. Nanaw stayed for dinner of beef in the crock-pot. Mama made a Shirley Temple Hurricane Mardi Gras drink for Chase, and he really seemed to like it.
