Chase is 27 months old today! He can sing the alphabet song and count to 10. One of Chase’s adventures today was going to Walmart with Nanaw. First, Chase and Nanaw stopped by the dentist’s office to check on things, then they went to Walmart. Chase had story time with Pink Bunny and Mr. Raccoon in the morning; they listened to part of a story from Wee Wisdom about Lambie and Bushy Squirrel. The idea is for Chase to learn to sit still in a chair and listen to a story – he gets a treat when he stays in the chair but so far it isn’t working out too well. In the afternoon, after Chase’s nap, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs. First, they had school, and Chase colored and then played with the alphabet letters. He watched the Monsters University DVD and danced to the music of the keyboard. After school, Nanaw put Chase’s Elmo train down on the floor with the other train parts that Mama’s friend gave Chase. He seemed to have a good time playing with them. When Nanaw took Chase home, he went for a walk/ride in his wagon with Daddy, Mama and Sam.
