Today’s adventure with Chase and Nanaw was shorter than usual because Nanaw had a dentist appointmentso Daddy picked Chase up on his way home from work. In the morning, Chase played with his new puppy house – he still seems really enthused about it. He also colored and played with a stuffed Valentine’s Day devil that Mama gave to Pawpaw years ago. Chase calls it "Hot" because it’s holding a little heart-shaped pillow that says "Hot Stuff." Before his nap, Chase and Nanaw practiced story time. Nanaw set up Chase’s three chairs, with Chase sitting in one of them, his big bunny in the second one and his big raccoon in the third one. Nanaw sat in front of the class and read a squirrel story from Wee Wisdom. It didn’t go so well the first time of the practice because Chase kept getting up off the chair and running around. But Nanaw will keep trying.
