Saturday was Nanaw’s birthday, and Chase came over to Nanaw’s house for her birthday dinner with Mama, Daddy and Sam. Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, cousins Mike, Joey, Robbie, Lindsey, Nichole and Natalie came also. Cousin Kristie was home from college but she had to work at the cookie place. Chase helped Nanaw open her birthday presents, which included a Christmas house that recites "Twas the Night Before Christmas," a raspberry candle, a Cardinals’ sweatshirt and iTunes gift cards. Chase had a lot of snacks before dinner so he didn’t eat much dinner, although he ate dessert. He did a cute thing with Doritos when Nanaw was setting the table, going around the table, putting chips on the plates – Mama wasn’t too happy about that. He kept going up to his three guy cousins sitting on the sofa and saying Hi to them – it was very cute. At the end of the evening, Mama gave a Chase a bath in Nanaw’s deep bathtub, and he seemed to have a wonderful time.
