The first thing Chase did on Monday morning when he got to Nanaw's house was to search for the plastic eggs filled with candy that the Easter Bunny hid on Sunday (silly Nanaw forgot to have Chase search for them on Sunday.) Chase had a grand time searching for the eggs and then decided he would hide them for Nanaw to find. Nanaw was very impressed with his clever, innovative hiding places: inside one of the jar candles, in the pocket of the recliner and in the drawer of the desk. It was great fun. Nanaw had originally planned to take Chase to the Science Center on Monday but ran into a problem with putting new Sunday School calendars on the church website so had to stay home to work on that. While Nanaw worked on the computer, Chase sat next to her on the laptop playing with abcmouse. He created a new avatar for himself with black hair and glasses. Nanaw told him that wasn't what he looked liked but Chase said he liked the little boy. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to play school, Chase's latest favorite thing to do. They said the pledge of allegiance and then played the spelling game. They also put the date on the calendar and talked about what day it was. Later, Chase and Nanaw watched Toy Story 1 and played with Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Mr. Potato Head. He also played with his new Troll Play Dough while watching the movie. When Chase got home, he got to open a mini wine bag (that's what he calls mystery bags), and he got a Mario monkey.
