Nanaw got to participate in a wonderful adventure with Chase, Mama and Daddy on Sunday. They went to a Cardinals baseball game in the afternoon when Nanaw got home from church. Chase wore his Molina tee-shirt and was very excited about seeing "Yadi" -- as he calls him. Chase brought a few of his favorite stuffed "amamals" along with him" Tee Tee, of course, Chase box turtle, and the Cardinals bear named Chris Carpenter. At the ball park, Chase got a free ticket to another baseball game, and Mama, Daddy and Nanaw got Piscotty jerseys. Their seats were in the shade and that was a good thing for Nanaw -- she doesn't like the heat of sitting in the sun. This will probably be her only baseball game this season because of the heat. Chase had a great time watching Yadi and the other players and watching the scoreboard. He wore cute red sunglasses, and at one point thought he had lost them -- but he had given them to Daddy for safekeeping -- this was while Mama and Daddy had gone to get food. Chase had nachos or chips and cheese as he calls them. Nanaw had popcorn, Daddy had a hot dog and Mama had a pretzel. The Cardinals did badly and lost to the Cincinnati Reds, 8 to nothing. But it was a fun time, especially for Chase, who seems to be quite the baseball fan.
