Chase had two on Thursday. His first adventure was going to Story Time with Miss Candy at the Columbia Library. Miss Candy read two books about cows, and the craft was a cow. Chase had a really good time playing with a little girl named Caroline. Sienna was there, and Nanaw asked her mom about T-ball (Sienna's dad is coach of one of the teams). It turns out that Sienna is on that team, along with Poppy and Brooke from Chase's class. That's the team that Chase's team has its first game with next Wednesday, April 26. After Story Time, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley. It had been a long time since their last visit, and both of them were happy to be there again. They went inside first and played with the puppets with a little boy and little girl. Then Chase got two of the little Missouri Conservation children's newsletters, and he and Nanaw did the scavenger hunt. It was fun looking for frog tracks, a butterfly, a snake, etc. They went to see the fish, the bees, the turtles and the snakes. After going to the displays, Chase and Nanaw walked on the trail with walking sticks. Chase didn't want to walk very far so they went home. Once again, Chase was worn out and took a long night-night nap.
