Wednesday was Chase's turn to bring snacks so Mama bought big boxes of Cheese-its. When Nanaw picked Chase up, he was so excited to show her the Easter egg that he dyed at school. He had it in a little basket with grass that he made. Of course, he dyed his egg his favorite color: blue. He also had crayons and a notebook that came from the Easter Bunny. Chase was also excited about getting his book order. One of the things he got was a very cute stuffed duckling. Chase said, "This was exactly what I wanted!" The duckling came with a book about ducks. He also got a Star Wars book and a Rubble book. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Legion park because that was the park Brady was going to. Chase took the duck with him and had fun playing with it. Nanaw gave Brady, Chase and Emma the Hot Wheels cars to play with before she and Chase left to run errands. They went to the post office, Dollar Tree (where Nanaw got Easter cards and Chase got silly string, two slingshots, goggle, water balls and some kind of weapons)and Schnucks (where Nanaw bought red licorice -- Chase said, "Good, now I can eat more red licorice.") Chase had a meltdown at T-ball, and Nanaw had to take him home. Today's problem was threefold: Cassidy wanted to borrow Chase's new bat, and Chase didn't want to let her; Chase said he was scared of one of the dads out on the field; and Brady and Chase went after the same ball on the field and Brady took it away from Chase. Hopefully, Daddy can get Chase straightened out about T-ball.
