On Friday morning, Chase told Nanaw he wanted to play school when he got home from real school, and Nanaw said yes, of course. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, Brady asked if he was going to the park, and Nanaw said yes, they were going to the little park. Drew and Brady and their grandmothers came to the little park by the library but it turned out that they had wanted to go to the Legion park but had told Chase they were going to the little park. So everybody left the little park and went to the Legion park. Nanaw had never been there, and she liked it. There's a big cheeseburger there for the children to climb on. There are also swings and several slides, plus a lot of other things. Little Emma was there also, much to Nanaw's delight. The kids had a great time playing, although as usual, there were one or two kerfuffles. Back at Nanaw's house, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to play school. First, they said the pledge of allegiance, with Chase holding the flag. He told Nanaw that in class if someone doesn't put their hand on over his or her heart, Ms. Carrow says she has to talk to him or heart. Chase also taught Nanaw the Tidy Up song that they sing in class when it's time to put away the toys. He also taught Nanaw how to sing the Days of the Week song. It's amazing all the things he's learned at school and has not revealed to Daddy/Mama/Nanaw (that's the group he refers to).
