When Nanaw took Chase to school on Tuesday morning, she verified with Mrs. Neff that she would come to class to volunteer on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. Mrs. Neff said she would provide the book and that Nanaw would be working with a small group. Brady took Chase's water bottle again and gave it to Nanaw. Chase was not happy about it, and Nanaw told Brady not to take Chase's water bottle anymore. Chase had a major adventure in the afternoon. He and Nanaw went to the Columbia library for "Tales to Tails" -- a program for reading to dogs. The dog was a black lab named Fred, and he was wonderful and friendly and gentle. Chase read a book titled "Pugs in a Bug." Nanaw and Chase soon learned that they couldn't say Fred's name because when you did, Fred got up from his bed where he was laying and would come over to be petted. It was very cute. Chase did a great job of reading the book and only had to sound out a few words. He had a great time and said he wanted to come back next month. Nanaw took lots of pictures to send to Mama. Daddy picked Chase up from Nanaw's house because Mama was at her hair appointment. Chase forgot Tee Tee so Nanaw took Tee Tee home to Chase. Daddy was going bowling and he took Chase with him to the bowling alley. Mama was going to pick Chase up there.
