When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she told him that the large Uno cards and Woody the stuffed woodpecker had arrived and was waiting for him in the back seat of the car. He was happy about that. Nanaw asked him if he knew what his religion score was but he didn’t. Nanaw told him he got 19 out of 22 plus 2 for extra credit so 21 out of 22. The science test grades aren’t out yet. At Nanaw’s house, Chase and Nanaw played three games of Uno with the new large Uno cards. Nanaw won two games and Chase won one. After Uno, Chase and Nanaw went into the computer lab. Chase played with the tablet, and Nanaw gave him the pillow pad to prop up the tablet. Nanaw read one of the books she’s written — Deadly Reunion. Chase and Mama were going to make homemade pretzels on Friday night but decided to postpone the project till Sunday evening.
