Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning. Then Chase played outside most of the day because the weather was so wonderful. For lunch, Chase said he had spaghetti bake. He asked Nanaw if she knew what that was, and Nana said, yes, Mama told her what it was. Chase, Mama and Daddy played La Crosse and basketball outside. Chase wanted to play soccer with Mama but she told Chase she had to rest because he'd worn her out. Nanaw had lunch at Stefanina's out in Wentzville with her friends Betty and Joyce. She hadn't seen them for two years because of the pandemic. Nanaw had decided to take the turkey carcass out to the little house for the animals. She left Stefanina's at 4 p.m., which was cutting it close because she was supposed to be at Chase's house at 6 p.m. for dinner. So Nanaw drove really fast and managed to get to Chase's on time. For dinner, Daddy grilled chicken: thighs for him, breasts for Mama and Chase and wings for Nanaw. Mama also made beans and mac and cheese. Nanaw was excited to watch Chase give himself two more helpings of mac and cheese. After dinner, Chase and Nanaw went into Mama's office, and Nanaw watched Chase play hockey video games.
