When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he came out with his head down, looking sad. It turned out that he had left his navy hoodie in the gym. So on Monday, he’ll have to go to the lost and found to find it. Nanaw told him about his perfect score on the social studies test — 27 out of 27. Chase was very excited and made all kinds of happy gestures. On the phone call with Mama, she talked to Chase and Nanaw about Mr. Gregson’s visit to Chase’s classroom to talk to the class about bullying. Evidently the 4th grade teachers were informed that there’s bullying going on. Mr. Gregson said it was unacceptable and must be stopped immediately. Chase said no one was bullying him, and he told Mama and Nanaw who the main bully is. Mama and Nanaw told Chase he must always report all bullying to the teachers. At Nanaw’s house, Chase and Nanaw followed his teacher’s recommendation that Chase look at his grades, etc. in Option C. Also he should read the weekly newsletter and look at Homework Central. So they did all that. The point is to put the students in charge of their work, to have them take responsibility for their assignments, grades and everything connected with their schoolwork. So that's what Chase and Nanaw will do each day. The last three photos are selfies that Chase took of himself. LOL
