On Thursday morning, Nanaw went to pick up Chase because Mama's car was at Dobb's so she couldn't bring Chase over to Nanaw's house. Nanaw asked Chase to do the new Good Student Practice today: "Take your time. Go slowly. Don't rush. Be careful. Listen carefully to the teacher." When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he said he missed one on the spelling test. They looked it up and he missed noisier -- he spelled it without the second I -- noiser. Chase did his AR reading on the way home from school. Then he and Nanaw studied math for his test tomorrow. They went through the review page and then Nanaw gave Chase some problems to solve. He seems to know his math, and Nanaw has her fingers crossed that he'll do well on the test tomorrow. After studying math, Chase and Nanaw studied the questions for the reading test -- Ecology for Kids. He got nine out of ten answers right; Nanaw told Mama which one he missed so she could make sure when he studies tonight, he knows the correct answer. Nanaw put together 10 questions on the reading and 10 questions on vocabulary (which Chase answered correctly) and gave copies to Mama so she could study them with Chase tonight.
