Mama and Daddy were both off work on Friday so Nanaw won't get to spend the day with Chase. Mama and Daddy went to Soulard in the morning and dropped Chase off at Nanaw's house at 9 o'clock. Chase and Nanaw played baseball in the front yard, pitching and batting. They used the batting tee and the rocket launcher, and the strike zone. Chase thinks he batted one of the balls into the gutter so the next time Uncle Mike comes over, Nanaw will have him look for the ball in the gutter. When Mama and Daddy came back from Soulard, they went to Fitz's for lunch. After Chase left, Nanaw went out to the little house. The Dish technician is coming Saturday morning at 9 a.m. or thereabouts. Mama sent Nanaw Chase's class list for 5th grade, and everybody was happy about it and about the fact that one of the bullies was in the other class. Unfortunately, so are Connor, Cole and Hunter, three of Chase's best friends. But Brady, Will and Joey are in Chase's class so that's good. In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Connor's house for a pool party for his baseball team. Mama sent a picture to Nanaw of the boys swimming. More about the pool party tomorrow when Nanaw gets the details from Mama.
