When Mama and Daddy got the email from the baseball coach, here's what he said about Chase: Chase Southerland will challenge our team in several ways. Polite, Well Mannered? Yes! And approaches the game with a purposeful intent to compete and improve. Could possibly play any position you asked - and with a smile! Good for you, Chase. In the morning, Chase read the lemur book from the library to his two lemurs and Biggie, Nanaw's lemur. School was good on Friday; Chase got done early, which made him very happy. They did long division flashcards and multiplication problems. Also state capitals and four worksheets on vocabulary and grammar, plus five pages in the Bridge workbooks. In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to the Demo Derby with Brady's family. Brady hasn't made a baseball team yet but his dad is checking out other available teams for him. Chase and Brady had fun on the rides before the Demo Derby. Chase came home with a smiley face that he named Coolie. Mama sent a picture of Coolie on Saturday so it will be in that post.
