Of course, on Friday when Nanaw turned on the TV at the little house, it was working. The Dish technician came out on Saturday morning and found water in the satellite dish connector under the house. He emptied the water, and the picture was much better. Nanaw came home and stopped at Chase's house on the way. They were going out to Uncle Chris's house in Silex for a 4th of July party, with swimming and fireworks and spending the night. Mama had brought Sam and Sylvester over to Nanaw's house to spend the night with her. Chase told Nanaw all about his swimming party Friday night at Connor's house. He was so excited about everything. Most of his baseball team came. They had Papa John's pizza. Chase said he swam for more than three hours and had a great time. The boys went inside and played video games and with the virtual reality system that Connor and his brother Knox have. Chase told Nanaw all about the VR system and said he really liked it. Chase and Daddy really want one, and Daddy said they might get one for Christmas. Nanaw told Chase that they'd seen some virtual reality things at the Science Center a couple of years ago. Maybe they'll go there this week and take a look at them. The first photo below is from the swimming party. Mama said the boys lined up two or three times and fell backwards into the pool. LOL
