Chase and Nanaw were going to have a special adventure on Wednesday morning. They were going to visit the Science Center for the first time in almost three years. Chase had been so excited about the virtual reality system that he played with at the party at Connor's house. Nanaw told him they had virtual reality displays at the Science Center so they decided to go. Unfortunately, they discovered that the Science Center is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, something Nanaw didn't know and didn't think to check because they used to be open all weekdays. They decided they would go back on Friday. Nanaw asked Chase if he wanted to go to the zoo because they were right there but Chase said no. They had fun at school doing: state capitals, multiplication problems, reading in the Xplor magazine from Powder Valley, doing a worksheet on vocabulary, and math word problems. Chase had his second to last baseball game Wednesday night. It was really hot but Nanaw wanted to go to the game. She took frozen bottles of water and her fans but it wasn't really too bad. Chase's team lost but they had a good time playing. The first picture below is one that Mama sent Nanaw Tuesday night of Chase with his black cherry float.
