After an early morning walk, Chase and Nanaw went to Clayton Laptime. The program was held in the children’s section of the library instead of the auditorium because of the library’s book sale. Miss Laura was in charge today in place of Miss Jeannie. Chase seemed to have a grand time running around the library during the play time part of Laptime, including pulling books off the shelves (Nanaw put them back), climbing on chairs and throwing balls around. After Laptime, Chase and Nanaw walked up to Taylor Park, where Chase went down the slides, went of the swing and rode on the duck and horse. After his nap, Chase went downstairs for "school" and played with his new small magnetic dry erase board. He wrote on it with markers and put magnetic alphabet letters on it. In the early evening, Chase and Nanaw went with Mama to Papa Murphy’s to get pizza for Mama’s party on Saturday. They also went to Dollar Tree and bought dry erase markers, two sets of flash cards, bubbles and Mickey Mouse clackers for Chase.
