Chase had a major adventure on Sunday: He made his first visit to Grant’s Farm. Also going with him, in addition to Daddy, Mama and Nanaw, were Jackson, Aunt Jen and Uncle Joe. They went early, at 9:30 in the morning so as to not interfere with the boys’ naps. Chase and Jackson seemed to have a great time, riding on the train / tram and eating lots of Nanaw’s funnel cake and kettle corn. They also watched the elephant show, fed little bottles of milk to the goats, rode on the carousel, and looked at lots of animals, including ducks, geese, hamsters, eagles, owls and lots of others. At the end of the visit, everybody but Nanaw went to visit the Clydesdales, and Mama bought Chase a stuffed Clydesdale that she named Grant. So now Chase has a new friend to take with him on his adventures. Mama fixed delicious chili for dinner and invited Nanaw.
