Chase's adventure for Thursday was a road trip out to the A-frame at Aspenhof so Nanaw could winterize it -- the forecast was for the temperature to get below freezing Thursday night. Before the road trip started, Chase and Nanaw went to let Sam out and then went to Walmart. Chase was delightful on the road trip, talking and entertaining Nanaw. At the A-frame, Chase watched cartoons and then did an amazing thing with the iPad. He was in his stroller next to the table, and he reached up, took down the iPad, opened the case, swiped the arrow to open the iPad, then chose his flashcard app and started looking at flashcards -- how did he learn how to do all that!! For awhile, he sat on the deck with the iPad, watching the leaves fall. Chase fell asleep on the way home so that was his nap for the day.
