Mama and Daddy were off work in the afternoon, and they planned an exciting adventure for Chase and invited Nanaw to come along. First, they stopped at Church’s Chicken and bought lots of goodies for their picnic at Suson Park. Once again, Chase seemed to recognize the park when they drove in, and he did lots of babbling. They picnicked at the same area as an earlier picnic. This time lots of geese were wandering around. Chase thought they were ducks and kept saying "quack-quack." They looked at all the animals and then took Chase to the playground. He went down one of the slides and on the swing. He walked around the perimeter of the playground again, and Mama let him walk a little while on the retaining wall before they left for home. It was Daddy’s first visit to Suson, and he said he really liked the park.
