Chase’s Friday adventure was a visit to the Train House (aka the Museum of Transportation). Chase had a great time putting together train tracks, with Nanaw’s help. Again, he went over to the craft table by himself. Nanaw helped him make another craft; he used lots of tongue depressors to make people that he tucked in the flap on the grocery bag he used for the craft – very cute. Chase also played with the mega blocks, in the kitchen and on the school bus. After the Thomas Tables room, Chase and Nanaw rode on the train. Then Chase rode on the hand cars – which he calls the handy cars. This time he rode in the red car instead of the blue one. Chase and Nanaw bought popcorn and then explored the caboose. In the evening, Chase went out to dinner with Mama and Daddy, and they had yummy peanut butter and jelly gooey butter cake for dessert. Nanaw told Mama that from now on, she’s going out to dinner with them on Friday nights.
