Chase and Nanaw spent the day at home, playing in Chase's turtle sandbox on the lower deck and with Chase's farm on the upper deck. They had a wonderful time playing all kinds of things, and Chase barely watched any TV at all, which made Nanaw happy. In the afternoon, Uncle Mike came to cut Nanaw's grass, and Chase was very happy to see Uncle Mike. Cousin Lindsey came along with Uncle Mike, and Chase was delighted to see her. He's always happy to have an audience. Cousin Lindsey loves Chase dearly and thinks he's very smart -- Nanaw thinks so too. Nanaw showed Chase a picture of Uncle Mike when he was Chase's age and asked Chase who it was. Chase said, "It's me and I'm at the zoo, and I'm going to ride the train." It actually was a picture of Uncle Mike at the zoo. Cousin Lindsey rode with Nanaw to take Chase home, and when they passed the road that leads to the Catholic church, Chase said, "The church is up there. I have to be quiet there." But he isn't quiet so Daddy can't take him there very often. When Chase, Nanaw and Cousin Lindsey were walking up to Chase's front door, Cousin Lindsey said, "Your dog and cat are waiting at the door." Chase said, "Sam is Mama's dog." Very cute -- and it made Mama very happy when Nanaw told her.
