Chase and Nanaw had a quiet day at home on Monday. They went downstairs and worked on fixing the train track on the Thomas table. They also picked up the train track Chase had spread all around the floor. Then they went out on the lower deck to play in the sandbox. The new dance DVD Nanaw bought for Chase came in the mail, and Nanaw played it for Chase and took pictures of him dancing. At his request, Chase watched Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 3 -- not sure why he didn't ask for Toy Story 2. He seems to like Buzz Lightyear best of all. Chase's big adventure of the day came when Nanaw took him home. When he was getting out of the car and Daddy came to get him, they all saw the ice cream man go down one of the side streets. Daddy said they would get ice cream; Mama said she didn't want any. So Daddy, Chase and Nanaw walked up the street to meet the ice cream man -- the first time for Chase. Chase got a Ninja Turtle ice cream that was green; Daddy got an ice cream sandwich; and Nanaw got an ice cream bar -- yum! Mama had bites of everyone's ice cream.
