When Nanaw took Chase to school on Monday morning, she took a picture of the yellow caddy. The red table kids were still excited about it, even though it was no longer on their table. Nanaw had lots to carry in: the money envelope for Chase to shop in Santa's Kottage, the two big boxes of Apple Jacks because it's Chase's snack week and the shining student bag. Unfortunately, Chase got sick at lunch and threw up. Nanaw came to pick him up and once again, he was sitting on the bench in the hall in front of a humongous trash can. He had on a pair of borrowed shorts; evidently he threw up on his pants. Nanaw took him home, and he seemed fine. He spent most of the afternoon playing at the kitchen counter with his slime, Play Dough, crayons and Cars cars. He only ate some Ritz crackers and drank some Pedialyte. But he seemed to feel a lot better so that was good. He said he gets to do the shining student bag on Tuesday. Nanaw forgot to take pictures of Chase on Monday so she asked Mama to send her one. Mama also sent Nanaw a picture of the little Christmas tree she has on her desk at work. In addition to the yellow caddy picture, Nanaw took a picture for Mama of the Woodcocks' hunter penguin.
