When Chase and Nanaw left for school on Wednesday morning, they saw that baby Jesus's blanket had blown over by the Wise Men. So Chase tucked it all around the baby -- it was very cute. At school, Nanaw told Mrs. Herrmann how wonderful she thought the play was and what a good job everyone had done. Wednesday was Nanaw's day to volunteer in Chase's classroom. Her job was to help at the various tables as the boys and girls did their center assignments. She didn't get to work with Chase much but she did get to see how much he enjoyed the Christmas Write the Room activity. It was sort of like a scavenger hunt, one of Chase's favorite things. There were 12 numbered pictures posted around the room, and the boys and girls had papers with 12 empty boxes. They had to find the 12 pictures and write the name of the item in the picture on their paper. Chase found all of them except for number 12. Then Joey and Mrs. Herrmann gave him a hit and he found it -- and he was very happy. Mrs. Herrmann took lots of photos at the play on Tuesday night for Seesaw, and Nanaw included a few of them below.
