On Monday morning, Nanaw set up a selection of random toys on the kitchen counter for Chase to play with. He was delighted with the toys and had fun playing with them in the morning and also after school. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she had planned to go to Waterloo Walmart to get modeling clay for him, and to Dollar Tree to get popsicles, but Chase didn't want to go anywhere, he just wanted to go home. He told Nanaw she could go shopping after she took Chase back to his house. When Chase got home from school, Nanaw set up buckets for him as his "drum set" -- and he had fun playing with them. Nanaw found Mama's recorder from when she was a little girl, and Chase played with it for awhile. After Nanaw took Chase home, she went to Walmart to get modeling clay and to Dollar Tree to get popsicles. She also bought a pack of modeling clay and a paint set for Chase. Nanaw was very happy to learn that the Cardinals won the base ball game -- actually Yadi Molina, Chase's favorite player, won the baseball game.
