Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning, and when she got there, Chase told her it was Berry the peacock's birthday. So Chase said they had to sing Happy Birthday to her, and they did. Mama said as soon as she finished her grocery list and dried her hair, they could do the crayon maker. It was great fun. You break up crayons, put them in the crayon melter, they melt, and then you draw with them. However, it wasn't what Nanaw expected. Nanaw thought it would melt crayons into a round lump that you could color with when it cooled and hardened. It turns out that that's what crayon makers do, not crayon melters. So for Christmas, Nanaw will buy Chase a crayon maker. After the crayon melter, Chase and Nanaw played on Chase's bed with his stuffed animals. He pretended that the bed was a boat, and they went sailing. Then he covered himself and the animals up with his comforter. Later in the day, Mama, Chase and Daddy went to Penney's and then to the Mexican restaurant by Cici's. Then Daddy took Chase for a haircut, and Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase with his haircut. For dinner, they had Chinese.
