Mama had the day off on Valentine's Day, and she and Nanaw had a shopping adventure planned. Nanaw was having plumbing problems and thought she might not be able to go. But the plumber wasn't coming until 3 o'clock so Nanaw could go shopping with Mama. Mama was looking for something to wear to the ICS dinner auction next week; she actually bought three things that she liked. Chase had early dismissal from school so Mama and Nanaw picked him up at 11:20. First, they went to Jack in the Box on Telegraph Road for lunch. Mama and Nanaw had mini tacos; Chase had a cheeseburger. Next they went to the mall to Bath and Body where Chase did a lot of smelling of candles and hand soap. They bought a new bottle of hand soap for Nanaw's house. Last, they went to Walmart. They saw Mrs. Borgmeyer, one of the ICS teachers, there. Nanaw went over to Chase's house in the evening, after the plumber left and while Uncle Mike was at Nanaw's house cleaning up the mess from the plumbing disaster. Nanaw gave Chase his microscope and he didn’t seem like he liked it. (But on Saturday, Mama said he told her he liked it, and she told him he should tell Nanaw that but he didn't.) Mama gave Nanaw some chocolate-covered strawberries. The second to last picture is Chase's George Washington costume for the Heritage parade and play next week. The last picture is D-O from the Star Wars movie; this is what Mama gave Chase for Valentine's Day.
