Nanaw missed Chase on Thursday morning. Daddy had the day off so he took Chase to school. But Nanaw got to pick Chase up after school and that made her very happy. Mama sent Nanaw a text saying that she'd received an email from Mrs. Meyer saying that Chase's expander had fallen out and that she'd put it in his backpack. Mama called the orthodontist and set up an appointment in Waterloo for next Tuesday at 4 p.m. Nanaw asked Chase about the expander, and he said he pulled the string and it came out. Nanaw told him not to pull the string again once the orthodontist put the expander back in. When they got to Nanaw's house, Chase played his new game, Hyperball, on Nanaw's phone. Chase had lots of healthy snacks when he got to Nanaw's house: a banana, mixed vegetables, applesauce and chocolate milk. Chase got to have a dress-down day today because Mama went to the Parents and Friends meeting on Monday night. Chase had a heart on his shirt, and he said Mrs. Meyer put it there.
