The first picture below is Chase covered with his stuffed animals; Mama dumped them all over him when she brought him to Nanaw's house. When Nanaw took Chase to school on Tuesday morning, it was starting to get colder and windier. A winter storm warning has been announced for Tuesday and Wednesday. Chase and Nanaw started planning for a snow day: Activities included building a tiny snowman; playing snow baseball using snowballs as balls; a fire in the fireplace; making snow angels; making snow ice cream; and having hot chocolate. When Nanaw picked Chase up, it was even colder and windier; the weather is definitely taking a turn for the worse. Chase showed Nanaw the proper way to bat, and Nanaw was happy for the lesson. Chase brought home a little booklet from school that they colored. He'll use it for tonight's reading. There are also questions he has to answer on the last page of the little booklet. Chase's friend Andrew now wears glasses; today was the first day Nanaw saw Andrew with his glasses. Daddy has bowling tonight but Mama and Chase aren't going. Chase suggested to Mama that they get out his bowling pins and ball and make their own bowling alley. Mama said that was a good idea and sounded like fun.
