Chase didn't have baseball practice on Sunday -- maybe because of the Super Bowl game later in the day. But he did get a haircut finally -- Yay! Nanaw loves when he has a buzz cut. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky stopped by Nanaw's house on their way to E's so Uncle Mike could look at Nanaw's ice maker. He couldn't figures out what was wrong but he took it apart and put it back together. (When Nanaw got home from Mama's Super Bowl party, the ice maker was making ice so Nanaw texted her thanks to Uncle Mike.) When Nanaw got to Chase's house, he was out in the back yard, playing field hockey with Uncle Mike. They were doing shootouts, and it was very cute. Mama made delicious food: meatballs, Italian beef, Rotel dip, bacon-wrapped Smokies, ham sandwiches, and gooey butter coffee cake. Nanaw brought shrimp, and Aunt Becky brought brownies. Chase played hockey with Daddy during halftime. Then Nanaw played hockey with him for awhile. Also, Chase sat on Nanaw's lap for awhile. Nanaw got to select Chase's jammies, and she selected the skeleton jammies with candy corn -- and the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl!
