Last night Mama texted Nanaw a picture of Chase with the headgear he has to wear to bed, according to the orthodontist. Mama says he's a real trooper, and Nanaw totally agrees. When Nanaw took Chase to school, the boys and girls in his class were still excited about yesterday's biography program. Nanaw got her usual hug from Maria -- who was Sacajawea yesterday. On the way home from school, Chase and Nanaw stopped at Chase's house so he could go to the bathroom. Then they discussed him doing one of his reading assignments with Nanaw, and he finally agreed to do it. So when they got to Nanaw's house, Chase for 15 minutes out of one of his Dogman books: Brawl of the Wild. Then Nanaw and Chase went downstairs so Nanaw could walk on the treadmill. Chase was happy to go because Nanaw let him play with her phone. They also took Chase's bag of stuffed animals downstairs with them. Chase played for a few minutes on the laptop and then it was time to go home. When Chase got home, Mama had him do his second reading assignment: Symbols of America. He had to answer questions on the last page and put his name on the paper.
