Friday was Chase's last day of school. He'd already done all of his required work, and Nanaw had turned in his assignments. But Chase and Nanaw still had school. Chase did morning work, Spring Prep, workbooks, cursive handwriting practice, subtraction problems, and subtraction flashcards. Chase stayed in his pajamas all day again. Then, when Mama put him to bed Friday night, she put him I his clothes for the next day. That was so she didn't have to wake him up when they left at 3 a.m. Nanaw didn't have to take Chase home. Mama brought the dogs and Tyler over to Nanaw's house at 5:30 p.m. She forgot Sam's bed so she had to come back but Nanaw wasn't there because she'd gone grocery shopping. Mama told Nanaw that as they were driving away from her house, Chase said, "I'm going to miss him." Mama said, "You mean Nanaw? She's a she!" LOL
