Nanaw was running late from leaving the little house. She was supposed to be at Chase's house at 5:30 for Mother's Day dinner. Fortunately, Mama called and said dinner would be later than 5:30. Chase and Daddy were out exploring in the field and time got away from him. So Nanaw was able to get there in time for the dinner. Dinner was barbecued pork steaks and Caesar salad and O'Doul's -- some of Nanaw's favorite things. Nanaw got wonderful Mother's Day cards and presents. She got a rose candle, a Home Sweet Home candle, flowers, and an Alexa Flex for downstairs. After dinner, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went out in the field to explore the big pipes. It was very exciting. After their adventure, they went back to the house and had cheesecake with whipped cream. Yummy! Nanaw heard from Uncle Mike, aunt Becky and the grandkids with Mother's Day wishes.
