Chase and Nanaw had a great day on Friday. Chase decided it was Fred the flamingo's birthday so they sang happy birthday to him. Chase did lots of school work on Friday, including: morning work, Spring Prep and lots and lots of math. They got really behind on math, and Chase still has 8 pages of math from this week to do. So that's what they'll concentrate on next week. Nanaw sent Chase's homework pages to Mrs. Meyer, and she said that Chase is really doing well on his cursive handwriting. Nanaw had Mama tell him  what she said, and Mama said Chase seemed happy. Channel 9 has an online learning program on in the afternoon, and Chase watched the segment for second grade. Nanaw is going to have him watch it every day. Uncle Mike and cousin Joe went out to the little house to turn on the water, blow leaves and pick up wood lying everywhere. Nanaw is going out there tomorrow for the weekend. Yay! Nanaw forgot to take a picture of Chase today so she asked Mama to take one. Mama took a picture of Chase playing outside in his sandbox in the mud sand. Mama says he loves playing in the mud sand.
