Mama had the day off from work so she took Chase to school. Mama spent the day with Daddy, Aunt Becca and Auntie LaLa, so Nanaw got to pick Chase up from school. After school, they stopped at Chase's house to pick up his "people" -- also known as his stuffed "amamals." They went to the library and then they went for a long ride to see the castle again. Nanaw still can't figure out why she thought it was on the other side of the road. So she’ll just forget about it. Unfortunately, Chase fell asleep so he didn't get to see the castle. Chase played with his cars and marbles in his room for awhile, then had dinner. He came to play at the kitchen counter and worked in the workbook Nanaw bought for him at the big Dollar Tree on Telegraph Road. It's called Breakfast Bites for Your Brain, and it has all kinds of interesting tasks for children to do. Nanaw is going to get some more books like that for the summer so Chase doesn't forget some of what he learned this year in kindergarten.
