Mama had the day off from work on Friday so she took Chase to school. Mama spent the day with Uncle Mike on his "special day." Uncle Mike came to Nanaw's house first to cut the grass. Nanaw made coffee in the coffee cup that Mama and Chase gave Nanaw for Christmas. The cup is black until it heats up and then pictures of Chase show up. Nanaw made a video and sent it to Mama and also When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he wanted to stop at his house to pick up his "guys." He showed Nanaw the orange cups that he and Mama decorated for Uncle Mike's special day. Then he wanted to go right to Nanaw's house. His plan was to go downstairs and watch the weather on TV while playing in the play pen. He wanted to watch the hurricane news. It was very cute. When it was time to take Chase home, Nanaw discovered that she'd left the key turned on in the Escape's ignition, and it ran the battery down. So she called Mama to tell her about the problem, and then Nanaw talked to Uncle Mike who said they'd be over right away to fix the problem. Uncle Mike used a battery charger that Nanaw has in her garage to get the car started. Uncle Mike told Nanaw to drive around for awhile to charge the battery. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of her and Uncle Mike wearing their "I'm here for the Boos" Halloween shirts Nanaw bought for them; Chase was in the picture also, wearing his skeleton / candy corn jammies.
