Chase brought lots of animals with him on Monday, including his new stingray and puffin. He wanted Nanaw to gather them up in the afghan from the back seat of the Escape and carry them into his room, which she did. Monday was Mix It Up Day at school. That means the boys and girls from different classes got together to do various activities. Chase was with Will and Michael from Mrs. Borgmeyer's class, along with Hunter and Ethan from his class. They went to the cafeteria with the art teacher, Mrs. Fetcho. Chase said he made six masterpieces -- they were construction paper figures. On the way home from school and the cemetery, Chase fell asleep. When they got home and he woke up, he came into the house and headed straight for the futon in his room where he slept a little bit more.
