Nanaw got to babysit with Chase Saturday night, and it was so wonderful. Mama and Daddy went to the Blues hockey game with Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. First, Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree. Chase had a Dollar Tree gift card. The gift card had $5.00 on it. Chase spent $7.53 for various toys and candy and bubblegum for his gum machine. Chase swiped the gift card in the reader, and it was very cute to see him do that. After Dollar Tree, Chase and Nanaw went to tunnel McDonald's for dinner. Chase gave the checkout girl a $10 bill from his wallet, and she was very cute about him paying. There were three children in the tunnel area, and Chase had a great time playing with them. He got a little rowdy but Nanaw was okay with that. Back at home, they went downstairs. Nanaw walked on the treadmill, and Chase played in the play pen. After the treadmill, Nanaw worked on the basement, moving things around and straightening up things. She has to clear a path for the air conditioning guys to get through to install a new air conditioner. When they went back upstairs, Chase played with his new blue and orange slime. Nanaw took Chase home at 9:30 and got him ready for bed. They read Wally Woof and arranged all of Chase's night time animals in the correct place. He fell asleep soon after the Wall Woof book. While they were still at Nanaw's house, Chase said to Nanaw: "I had a good time with you tonight. Thank you." It was the sweetest thing ever and made Nanaw very happy.
