Mama gave Chase $5 for his St. Raymond donation at the school church service on Thursday morning. Last year, Chase kept forgetting to donate the money. But this time, he did it -- with help from his church buddy, he said. Nanaw did her volunteer thing on Thursday morning. This time, the first group was out of control; Mrs. Neff left them with Nanaw longer so that the second group (which was the one that was out of control last week) had a shorter time. But the second group was good this week. So funny. Chase brought home his reading test. He got a G on it -- he only missed one question out of 31 so the grading must be really tough. He also told Nanaw that they learned about Christopher Columbus, and he told her all about Columbus heading for India but ending up in the Bahamas and never finding North America. It was really wonderful to hear him talk about it.
