On Friday morning, Mama gave Chase $5 to donate to a school charity so he could have a dress-down day on Friday. Nanaw had Chase put the money in his jeans pocket but as usual, Chase forgot to donate the money. So from now on, Nanaw is going to make sure to give the money to his teacher. Nanaw will give the $5 to Mrs. Neff on Monday. Poor Mama isn't feeling well at all. Nanaw and Mama both went shopping at Walmart at the same time, unbeknownst to one another. Mama saw Nanaw's car in the parking lot and called her so they could meet up. When Nanaw picked Chase up, he said they went outside for all three recesses, even though there was still a little snow on the ground. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library, where Nanaw checked out six books for Mama, and Chase checked out eight books -- about weather, Pokemon and Minecraft. He got Cheez-its from the vending machine. Then they went to Walmart to see the shuge stuffed reindeer in the Christmas tree area. Nanaw bought Chase some M&Ms and a pack of Pokemon cards. Chase picked out a cute little stuffed loofah dog toy for Nanaw to give Sam for Christmas. Chase stayed late at Nanaw's house so Mama could rest and get better and so Daddy could work late and then go to a happy hour. Chase and Nanaw watched Aladdin, and Chase played on the laptop and with his Pokemon cards.
